For only $20/year any of our 55+ members are able to belong to this amazing CWC community. Enjoy the benefits of a new community of friends, off-site events, active hiking and walking groups, monthly luncheons, coffee parties and so much more. 

The Calgary Winter Club childminding area is a very popular spot for the Club’s younger generation.  Our childminding offers care of children from six weeks old to around six years of age. It is a fun, engaging and safe place for children to be while their parents are using other areas within the Club.

Soby’s Music, led by owner Irene Soby, offers our member families with a variety of music and tutoring services. Any members who would like to learn to play simply for the enjoyment of it, or for those who wish to receive accreditation from the Royal Conservatory of Music.

Irene’s team of qualified and talented instructors offer lessons for beginner to advanced students in Piano, Keyboard, Guitar, Voice, Violin, Fiddle, Cello, Harmonica, Ukulele, Banjo, Drums, Oboe, Flute, Saxophone, Music Theory, and Elementary through High School academic tutoring in English & French. 

Soby’s Music also offers:
  • Group music classes for 0-5 year olds
  • Elementary through High School academic tutoring in English & French
  • Rock Band Summer Camps
  • Acting and Improv Summer Camps
The Calgary Winter Club is pleased to offer our members a 2 Year Licensed Preschool Program for their children, ages three to four.  We offer various morning and afternoon options and provide low teacher to student ratios to ensure the quality and integrity of the program.
In addition, we also offer a variety of preschool classes that focus on the physical, social and emotional tools needed for development. Program include Bricks 4 Kids, Irish Dance, Young Rembrandts, gym and art classes and a variety of seasonal and craft based classes.


PT InMotion, led by owner Jeff Brooker, is a fully equipped rehabilitative clinic offering a variety of assessment and treatment services to both Winter Club members and non-members.

We have numerous licensed Massage Therapists who specialize in different areas of therapy. Whether you are interested in a relaxation, sport massage, or relief from pain due to an injury, a Calgary Winter Club therapist can help you. Massage Therapy at the Calgary Winter Club is available to members and their guests only.


Brandin Roa (Bcom, NCP, CPCC, CPE) of Stretto Wellness is the Club’s Nutrition Counselling Practitioner and Certified Professional Cancer Coach. She offers a range of programs, workshops, and one-on-one coaching to help educate, empower, and motivate her clients.

Leslie Steeves is a Registered Dietician, who facilitates a broad practice that supports clients on a number of health and performance related concerns. A focus for her in her practice is re-defining a client’s prosperity by looking at emotional, social, spiritual, mental and physical well-being rather than body shape and size.
Nutrition Services are available to members only.

The Calgary Winter Club offers dedicated spaces for younger members. The Youth Room is all about community: for children in grade school, promoting growth and belonging through fun games and educational opportunities. With daily drop-in times, kids finally have a place to call home at the Club. Scheduled events include monthly movie nights, games tournaments, and holiday-specific programming.

Our Teen Lounge, for members ages 12 - 17, is a space for them to study and socialize with friends.
